**Chocolate Chip Cookies**
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 c. chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degress.
- In mixing bowl cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla, Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda and baking powder. Gradually add to sugar mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Divide dough into four equal pieces. From each piece roll 9 balls.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten slightly.
- Bake 10 minutes or until tops have small cracks on surface and cookie is lightly browned. For softer cookies, do not over bake.
Makes 3 dozen
**Good old fashion chocolate chip cookies! I made these with my 3 yr. old niece and we had a blast! Not to mention we had some yummy-right out of the oven-chocolate chip cookies! mmmm-mmmm-good!
